The extreme flexibility of the Dyna-Fog Nightstar model enables unattended, automatic spraying, reduced worker exposure to chemicals and reduced labor costs. The Ultra low volume (ULV) low volume mister (LVM) principle ensures a higher efficiency of chemical coverage by delivering consistent droplets, which are evenly spread throughout the section being treated.

Some of the features of the simplified programmable controller inside the lockable water- resistant enclosure include display of the pre-programmed spraying schedule, constant display of time, and an auto memory. The user only needs to enter the spray time into the timer. The accurate sequences of flushing, spraying and air circulation will automatically take place.

One feature of the Nightstar is its capability to treat up to 60,000 square feet (the equivalent of 6,000 square meters) without the use of auxiliary fans – no competitor’s machine available today can compare to Nightstar’s capabilities at this unit’s price. If auxiliary fans are used, the area to be treated can be increased and extended up to 90,000 square feet (9,000 square meters).

With its novel delivery and formulation agitation system, the dual capabilities of the Nightstar easily allow for the dispensing of all wettable powder and liquid formulations. Every formulation is dispensed without using fluid flow restrictors, and clogging is basically eliminated.

When one compares the specifications with competitor’s products, it’s easy to see why Dyna-Fog is clearly the world leader in aerosol generators. When performance, quality, value, service and dependability factors are considered, only Dyna-Fog has it all.

The Nightstar automated operation allows spraying at the user’s convenience, day or night. The user simply adds the dispersant formulation to the chemical tank, water to flush tank and then turns the agitation switch on (if the operator is using wettable powders), set the program and then leave the premises.

To be able to apply disinfectants as well as insecticides and fungicides, the applicator must be able to produce the proper droplet size. The Nightstar has all an operator needs by giving the user a choice of 4 different droplet sizes:

  1. 8 MICRONS: For control of insects in their adult form, droplets of this size will settle from the air in approximately 3 hours, thereby minimizing the possibility of pesticides being exhausted or ventilated from the greenhouse.
  2. 20 MICRONS: For leaving an insecticide deposit on the leaves of trees and bushes, including the underside.
  3. 30 MICRONS: To leave a larger fungicidal deposit for purposes of protection as the leaf on a tree or bush grows.
  4. 50 MICRONS: Delivers a "wetting effect" for activating the dispersed disinfectant.
